Just back today from a (almost) 2 week break in Norway. We stayed in Asker with Thole, Randi and Ruben. Frode also came to see us when we visited. That was fun!
Here I am with a local troll we met in Oslo on a shopping trip.
We celebrated 17ende Mai and Mummy’s birthday during our trip to Norway. Both were good fun!
I also got to eat lots of ice cream and snacks and cakes and biscuits! I also got to stay up very late. And I got to travel in a train and on an airplane! Good fun!
We got her a new sand pit last weekend… Kaelyn have hardly been out of it since! Great investment…
What a day… Woke up at 6am, played with Mummy, had breakfast, Daddy got up at half nine! Got dressed, went to Daddy’s hotel, made sure all was ok there. Went to the shop, got flowers for Mummy and a newspaper for Daddy and Smarties for me! Home for second breakfast and playing with Daddy and Mummy in the garden. Sleep. Got up, had lunch in the garden, went to the beach. Built sandcastles, crushed sandcastles, built more sandcastles. Had ice cream, got messy, got really messy, Mummy cleaned me, got messy, got really messy again, Mummy and Daddy ignored that! Rolled around in the sand, went on the “round and round” by myself (it was a fire truck!), went up in the sky (high-high) with daddy, sat in the buggy, got in the car, drove home. Cried all the way in the car (because I was tired), got home. Had burger and mash for dinner, had yogurt for pudding, Mummy had tea, Daddy had coffee, both had biscuit. I had biscuit too. Watched Nemo, had bath, dried my hair. Daddy read 2 stories, mummy read 1 story. Kisses and big love. Good night, straight to sleep at 7pm!
Life is good! Better than good…
There is no doubt that there is a bit of a personality developing here…. Everyday there are new little quirks coming out. At the moment she is quite good at turning around and making her questions sound like our suggestions.
“Kaelyn do it” is also another statement that is heard frequently in our household…. Doesn’t matter what we are doing, she wants to do it herself these days!
Also; don’t try to tell her where to go or to hold our hand… That is not the direction she wants to go and one thing is sure! She does not want to hold our hand when we want her to hold it…
And those sunglasses…. You just have to smile and admire the whole thing (and her)…
Apparently the daffodil became the symbol of Wales because it is prettier to have in the buttonhole than a leek…. Can’t really argue with that….
It is also supposed to be the surest sign of the spring having arrived in Wales! Which is very welcomed by us all! We are all looking forward to a few warm, hot, sunny, dry and fun summer days! Although not too hot please, because Mummy don’t want to be both pregnant and too hot!…
We are all doing very well. Daddy is busy at work, Mummy is growing, I am growing and Oliver is sleeping!
How about a game of football in the garden?… Obviously we need to have a couple of more players as well…. Onto the field comes the two Lola’s! Who would imagine that I would be playing with dolls in the garden when I was passed 40!
Good fun it was too… And Kaelyn had a ball (football actually) doing it. That is the most important thing!
Click through to watch the video of the game. Think it was a draw in the end….
